The main objective of this workshop is to gather expert views on the most pressing priorities and issues related to the achievement of digital government across Europe and on the role that the EU could play in assisting the Member States. During the workshop, the preliminary findings of the study assessing the need for and the scope of a new Commission initiative on digital government will be presented.

All NGOs working with society engagement, digital democracy and any other topics related to digital government, as well as start-ups working in this domain are kindly invited to attend the workshop. The detailed workshop agenda is presented in the table below.

This workshop is part of the final phase of the study on ‘A new Commission initiative on public sector digitisation’, currently being conducted by Wavestone on behalf of the ISA² programme.
