Open data recognises the importance of geospatial data as a value resource for the European Digital Economy, where the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive is helping to share this data across borders over a range of sectors. To date, few technological approaches have allowed this data to be accessed and reused on the web or by mainstream ICT developers. The ISA2 Programme’s ELISE Action has organised two webinars to share some of its practical solutions from the study, to make geospatial data more accessible for e-government applications.

The second webinar will be held on Thursday 1st March from 14:00 till 15:00 CET and explores how users provide feedback on dataset metadata, such as issues of data quality or data usage. A prototype using GeoNetwork’s open source software shows how feedback can be shared between data catalogues, following approaches of the OGC Geospatial User Feedback working group.
