Mark Whitfeld

Bio:
I am a software development consultant hailing from Durban South Africa. I have been a professional software developer for 20 years and I love open source software, TDD, clean code and cleanly architected systems. I am the team lead for the Angular NGXS state management library and have been doing Angular development since the early release candidates.

Optimising NGXS: Simple State & Smart Selectors

After a brief introduction to NGXS, I talk about some recommended practices for structuring your application in order to ensure maintainability, flexibility and performance as the application grows

Fanis Prodromou

Bio:

Fanis is a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for Front End development with Angular. He has developed vast experience in code quality, application architecture, and application performance.
Being aware of how rapidly computer science and the tech aspects evolve, he tries to stay up to date by attending conferences and meetups by studying and trying new technologies. He loves to share his knowledge and help other developers.
He works in the ARCHITECHTS company as a Front-End Lead; he is a co-organizer of the Angular Athens meetup, he teaches Angular in Code.Hub and currently, he is authoring the book “Mastering Angular Reactive Forms”.
He enjoys spending time with his two cats, hikes, and scuba dive in his free time.

Talk:
Lazy Components

In this talk, Fanis will explain how to load components using selectors (it’s not that boring as it sounds :), how to load them dynamically, and how to lazy load them. The goal is to improve the performance and keep the codebase maintainable.
