Performance and related problems in web app is not new. Developers have been dealing with these issues for a long time. Although React uses clever ways to minimize the process of updating the DOM which lead to a fast user interface without specifically optimizing for performance, there are still some techniques where the application can speed up.

Making Animations “Easy” with Framer Motion (GR)

Creating smooth and beautiful animations with “good old” css can be troublesome. Just trying to create a collapsible sidebar with the icons always showing and the text hiding or expanding, i feel like Robin Williams in Flubber. Enter Framer motion.
