Learn what it is and get hands on experience with using OpenStack capabilities! On this workshop you will have the chance to understand what OpenStack is and how to use it through its Web Interface and CLI. We will describe the basic components of OpenStack and do a deep dive to the Web Interface in order to boot our own virtual machines!
This is a hands on workshop and attendees are expected to have at least basic knowledge of virtualization and networking concepts.
All attendees must:
– Bring their own laptop and be able to access a modern web browser
– Have an SSH terminal available for use (ex. Putty for Windows)
Seats are limited so we will strictly allow registered user in the classroom by 10:00. At 10:15 any empty seats will be filled will be open for any non-registered attendees on a first-come-first-server basis.
The workshop will take place at the SNFCC (National Library of Greece building), in the classrooms on the 2nd floor. For convenient access to and from the SNFCC, transportation by shuttle bus is available daily to visitors, free of charge. Find the timetable and the route at https://www.snfcc.org/en/shuttle-bus .
