For the first time, partners of the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA) are organizing a full week dedicated to data spaces in Japan! The Data Society Alliance (DSA), in collaboration with the University of Tokyo, the Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP), the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), IEEE, and the International Open Forum on Data Society (IOFDS), are excited to announce the Data Spaces Week 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.

Throughout the week, key data events will complement each other to form a gala: the Data Society Alliance Open Forum, the IEEE SA P3800 Working Group Meet-up, the Asia Open Data Partnership Summit 2024 and the International Open Forum on Data Society as well as the highlight on Wednesday, October 9: The combination of the AODP Symposium and the 2nd Data Spaces Discovery Day Tokyo, building on the success of the first edition in 2023. This combination will feature the collaboration between the AODP, representing the Asian data community, and IDSA, representing the European data space community. Additionally, the IOFDS will bring together Asian organizations outside Japan, offering a unique opportunity for deepening the collaboration between Asia and Europe in the area of data sharing.
