The game leads into presentations on the creation of local exchange networks and currencies to support the community economy, and how these contrast with cryptographic currencies like Bitcoin. The workshop is led by Professor Jem Bendell, from the University of Cumbria (UK: http://www.iflas.info/) and Matthew Slater, who is the co-founder of an association that supports over 200 community exchange systems, including some in Greece (http://www.communityforge.net/).
