The presentations will be:
• The Lip, a contactless payment system with smart contracts at the Seanaps music festival. Enrico Mina will talk about how they developed a contactless Blockchain payment system at the http://www.seanaps.net/ music festival in Leipzig to distribute the festival’s revenue to the artists, suppliers, local associations and volunteers using smart contracts.
• Writing a “Hello World” Ethereum smart contract. George Theofilis, CTO, Synaphea, will give a live demo of a “Hello World” smart contract on an Ethereum Virtual Machine and explain how Ethereum is different to Bitcoin.
• The 0x Protocol for the decentralized exchange of ERC-20 Ethereum tokens. Leonid Logvinov will talk about 0x, an open and non-rent seeking protocol that facilitates trustless, low friction exchange of Ethereum-based assets. Developers can use 0x as a platform to build exchange applications on top of. For end users, 0x will be the infrastructure of a wide variety of user-facing applications.
• If you had never had any cryptocurrency before, please install a Bitcoin wallet on your mobile device and we will give you some at the meetup for free. You can install as many wallets as you want and experiment with them. You can get started by installing CoPay or Coinomi (this one on Android only).
