ENISA has now announced the second edition of the annual European Cybersecurity Skills Conference. This year, the emphasis will be on the progress made with the ENISA Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF), as well as ENISA’s role in the Cybersecurity Skills Academy initiative.

The conference serves as a forum for the cybersecurity skills community to exchange experiences, challenges, and best practices resulting from ECSF’s implementation. It aims to discuss ways to improve and synergize ENISA-ECSF with other EU and Member State initiatives, as well as raise awareness about the value of multi-stakeholder collaboration in cybersecurity skills.

The conference will feature examples of ECSF implementation and adoption based on the European Commission’s Communication on Cybersecurity Skills Academy. Knowledge generation, training, coordinated approaches across governments, industry, and academia, identification of synergies, and measurement of progress in closing the skills gap will all be addressed.
