The FOSSASIA Summit is an annual event that has been at the forefront of open technologies for over 15 years, bringing together a global community of developers, innovators, enterprises, and educators. Since its founding in 2009, the summit has evolved into a crucial platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the free and open source software (FOSS) ecosystem.
The 2025 edition, set to take place in Bangkok, will be a 3-day hybrid event offering both in-person and online experiences. Building on the success of the 2024 summit in Hanoi, which drew over 5,000 participants, the event offers an opportunity to explore cutting-edge developments in open technologies. It will also serve as a critical forum for enterprises seeking flexible, sustainable open source solutions while playing a key role in integrating open source into education, preparing the next generation of the tech workforce.
