The international workshop “Digital Ocean” will be held, in hybrid mode On 28 November from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the BRAU (Humanities Area Library), Naples University, Italy.

 

The Digital Ocean Workshop promotes interdisciplinary dialogue on the frontier theme of creating “digital twin” environments, through the integration of georeferenced observations and methodologies between natural, human and geocartographic sciences, and open to transdisciplinary user environments.

The topic, beyond its scientific and technological complexity, will play an important role in view of the geopolitical and geostrategic impacts of the exploration and exploitation of the underwater world.

This Event will gather speakers from CODATA, ISC, Plymouth, Kiel, Naples, Bologna, Italy or the Copernicus marine forum
