——————————————————————————-

“Scalable ML Workflows with Advanced Data Management on Kubeflow” by Vangelis Koukis.

Abstract:
Kubeflow is an end-to-end solution for Machine Learning on Kubernetes, with the goal of making deployments of machine learning workflows on Kubernetes simple, portable and scalable. It is popular among data scientists, with outstanding community and industry support.

In this presentation we will showcase a simplified data science experience with Kubeflow. You will learn how to:
– Get started with MiniKF, a production-ready, full-fledged, local Kubeflow
deployment that installs in minutes
– Easily execute a local/on-prem end-to-end example with Kubeflow Pipelines
– Seamlessly integrate Jupyter Notebooks and Kubeflow Pipelines with Arrikto’s Rok
– Run a complete Kubeflow Pipelines workflow without K8s-specific knowledge

Speaker:
Vangelis Koukis is the CTO and co-founder of Arrikto. Vangelis holds a PhD in computer science and has a long history of working in storage, data management, and cloud computing. Vangelis and his team are leading code contributors to Kubeflow and to several Kubeflow SIGs. Vangelis is a frequent speaker at Kubeflow and Kubernetes storage related events and conferences.
