KVM Forum is an annual event that presents a rare opportunity for developers and users to discuss the state of Linux virtualization technology and plan for the challenges ahead. Sessions include updates on the state of the KVM virtualization stack, planning for the future, and many opportunities for attendees to collaborate.

This year’s event will be held in Brno, Czech Republic on June 14-15, 2023. It will be in-person only and will be held right before the DevConf.CZ open source community conference.

As in previous years, KVM Forum will also include birds of a feather (BoF) sessions where people can get together and discuss strategic decisions, as well as other topics that are best solved within smaller groups.

Registration

Admission to KVM Forum and DevConf.CZ is free. However, registration is required and the number of attendees is limited by the space available at the venue. Register here for KVM Forum!

The DevConf.CZ program will feature technical talks on a variety of topics, including cloud and virtualization infrastructure—so make sure to register for DevConf.CZ as well if you would like to attend.

UPDATE: KVM Forum 2023 will be held at IMPACT HUB Brno.

The venue is within walking distance from the train station (less than 1 km) and can be reached easily with public transportation, for example:

• from downtown Brno with trams 9 and 10 (stop Vlhká)
• from Hotel Avanti with bus 67 (stop Vlhká)

The easiest way to use trams, trolleybuses or buses in Brno is to tap a credit card against the yellow reader every time you board a vehicle and when you leave. The system will charge you 90 CZK at maximum per day. For information about other options, including multi-day tickets, please consult the DevConf.CZ web site.
