Why it matters: Many devices today are designed with planned obsolescence. A clear example is Microsoft ending Windows 10 support in October 2025, forcing millions to discard working computers. Repair Cafés exist to reverse this trend: extending device life, cutting e-waste, and saving money, while protecting the environment.
Goals:
- Show repair is possible & empowering
- Build visibility for ELLAK as a community hub
- Gather subscriptions for the Repair Café channel / mailing list
- Announce follow-up gatherings & ELLAK registrations
