Data is essential to implementing and monitoring the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). However, our experience reveals that cities and regions often face obstacles such as the lack of data infrastructure, which is also accompanied by exorbitant costs. To tackle this challenge and contribute to the attainment of the SDGs, the European Commission offers the Big Data Test Infrastructure (BDTI), a freely accessible, open-source stack to empower cities and regions to extract valuable insights from data.
On October 19, from 15:30 to 16:45, the BDTI Team will organize a workshop at the SDG Forum in Brussels to present the BDTI and explore together how your organization can leverage data analytics to support the achievements of the SDGs.
